    3. When you're in WORD97 with the book open, right-click one of the photos and select PROPERTIES. Resize from there; it may even let you reformat from there. But, always remember, rtf documents do not always give the best formatting results because they are not tied to any specific program for reading. You may have to save-as a .doc file to get what you want.
