Harriet, You can merge A and B. Unlink the child from B. (write down the RIN nr.) then you delete the unknown wife and delete the marriage for B and unknown wife. Last step add the unlinked child to A and known Wife (add existing individual) enter the RIN nr. Everything that is linked to that child comes with it. Hope this explains it.
