I had a tragedy this morning.  I lost my PAF program ( after 25+ years ) on my computer.  It is blank.  I have backed it up as a ZIP on USB thing,  so it is there but I don't know how to get it off of that back on my computer so I can see it.  Can it be done?  How? I would suggest running Check/Compare too. Another old PAF trick is the export all and then create a new PAS file (with a new name) and import the GEDCOM just created. Plus, AQ can with the click of a button put your info on FamilySearch, or just compare what they have. I first recommend you either use AQ, or Legacy or RootsMagic. There are several options on Groups.io for delivery of email, and once you're subscribed you can change this yourself at any time: - Individual Messages: You will receive each message in an individual email. - Full Featured Digest: Group up to 12 messages together as one email instead of being sent individually (rich formatting). - Plain Digest: Group up to 12 messages together as one email instead of being sent individually (plain formatting). - Daily Summary: A daily summary, delivered in the morning, of the group's messages from the previous day. - Special Notices Only: You will only receive special notices from the moderators. Hello all Some ISPs appear to be blocking messages from my normally used ISP, so I'm writing to you from an alternate address. Just wanted to give you an update. I have been considering both Groups.io and Google Groups as new hosts for this list. I created lists at both hosts so that I could reserve the PAF name. The lists are not active and subscriptions haven't been approved because I haven't yet made a decision about the hosts. There is over a month to make a decision regarding the lists' new host. It may take that long to find a new home for the lists. The creators of RootsWeb have confirmed that they are thinking about creating a new site which will host mailing lists and message boards. If that comes to fruition, I'll move the lists there. Please be patient. As soon as a decision is made, I'll notify everyone. In the meantime, would everyone please continue to use this list as usual.
