I've just received a number of obituaries for my ancestors from the Union City area and many of them refer to "Kimball Hill." Can anyone explain what this refers to? Many thanks... Linda
After sending Linda 3 separate messages with possible suggestions, I decided to haul down my Nelson's and low and behold there is a William B. Kimball, farmer, Union City, tract #135 Union township in 1847, clearing a 110 acre farm where he was living in 1896 (born 1822). As indicated to Linda earlier, there is a KIMBLE Hill Road and a KIMBLE Corners, so perhaps the name Kimball has become Kimble. Only a guess as I am not familiar with the area.
