From Crawford > Weekly Messenger from originals held at Pattee Library at PSU Volume 3 NO. > 148: date May 5, 1808 Mark, you may be able to get copies of the Brotherton letters through the Pattee Library. Their address is: Pattee Library Pennsylvania State University University Park, Pennsylvania 16802 I could be wrong, but suspect the reference to Le Boeuf you found does not pertain to the Le Boeuf post office, but refers to the post office in Waterford which was located at (Fort) Le Boeuf. The Le Boeuf post office wasn't established until 1867, according to the 1884 History of Erie Co. Hope this helps some. Let us know if you find the letters. Good luck!
