    3. Hi, I found this obit while doing some research and I thought that someone might need it. Erie Daily Times December 20, 1910 Death Capt. W.B. Warner Old Civil War Veteran Passed Away in Philadelphia, Dec. 13-Resided In This City for Number of Years. Friends of Capt. Wallace B. Warner, Co. B., 111th Regt. Pennsylvania Volunteers, will regret to hear of his death which took place in oncologic hospital, Philadelphia. Tuesday Dec. 13. Deceased was well known in this city, where he was in the insurance business for a number of years. The cause of death was from pneumonia. Cpt. Warner was born in Fairview, Erie county, Pa., He enlisted Oct 1,1861, as second lieutenant, company B, 111, Pa Volunteers at Erie where the regiment was organized. He was a gallant and brave soldier, taking part in the battles of Cedar Mountain, Va., Antietan, Mr., Chancellorsville, Va., Gettysburg, Pa. From Gettysburg he went to the volunteer army with 12th Army Corpo., taking part in the battles of Wanhatchie, Tenn., Lookout Mt., Mission Ridge and Ringold, Ga. After the close of the war, Capt. Warner was engaged in the insurance business in Erie. for several years. From Erie he went to Philadelphia, Pa., taking charge of the agency for the hartford Life & Aminity Co. He retired five years ago, going to Edinton, N.C. where he had purchased a fine fruit and vineyard plantation in company of his son-in-law, Frank C. Watkins. His wife and daughter and grand child survive him. Internment was amde at Arlington cemetery. Thanks for the Post. Rick
