    3. Hello list, It looks like this mail list is back in business after the Rootsweb downtime of 2 full days plus some. However, I do not know if any messages sent to the list during the outage period were processed. So, if any of you sent a message to PAERIE-L from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon and you did NOT see it come back to the list, then you should probably resend it. The web site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~paerie is also back, although the GenConnect Queries and other associated GenConnect boards appear to still not be available tonight, although they were available for a period of time yesterday. I was able to upload a revised page to the site earlier this evening, and have been able to make direct access page corrections which I could not do yesterday. By later this evening, all 22 township pages and the two city pages should be showing with a standard format - all should have at least one link to TourErie.com communities and all (except Lawrence Park which didn't exist in the 1800s) should have a link to the 1896 map and to the 1884 Bates History. I have tried to check all of the links, but if anyone clicks on a link and goes someplace where they didn't expect to go (like to the wrong township history), then please let me know right away and I can correct it almost immediately. Mike Wennin will be putting out an important e-mail about the web site in the next day or two, his schedule permitting. Hopefully, the Rootsweb outage and upgrade is behind us (except for the GenConnect boards which I suspect will be back soon) and we (all of us together) can continue to make the Erie County (PA) Genealogy web site a premier researcher tool for family history.
