Hi, I have a ggg-grandfather, MARTIN ARMSTRONG who Immigrated to Canada from Scotland in the early 1800's. He came across Lake Erie and landed at Orchard Beach. He had 3 older sons, CHARLES ARMSTRONG who possibly went to Virginia about 1850, and was a lawyer. Another J.H. ARMSTRONG who died in Lebanon Tenn. The 3rd older son M.N. ARMSTRONG was in Port Huron Michigan, was married in 1857 and possibly had a son in 1860. The youngest son of Martin, his name was WILLIAM HOWARD ARMSTRONG was born in North East, Erie Cnty, PA. Apparently Martin's wife died after he was born, and MARTIN ARMSTRONG went to Port Clinton, Ohio, taking the 3 older sons with him and leaving the youngest with a Family named JONES, in Erie County, PA.
