This is a correction. On October 8 I posted a message that said that "most of the bodies from the Harbor Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery were moved to Gospel Hill Cemetery in Harbor Creek Township." Dick Tefft says this is not correct. He says that all reburials took place in the South Harborcreek Methodist Cemetery. Let me quote him so the information isn't filtered through my interpretations: "The Harborcreek Presbyterian Cemetery had been abandoned and the people felt they wanted those bodies removed to someplace where the cemetery is cared for. This was in the 80's and at that time, Gospel Hill was abandoned and badly overgrown and there was not any authority who could give permission to bury there if they had wanted to... I had interviewed the lady in charge of the move and she told me where they were. I was at the cemetery and there is a bronze plaque commemorating the move. Gospel Hill was cleaned up a couple of years ago by the Harborcreek Historical Society and I was there. There had never been any mention of recent burials, in fact they assured me when they checked the stones against the readings from the 50's they saw no change."
