I'm new to this list and am wondering if there are any other list members who are researching family that lived in the eastern portion of Erie County -- particulary Corry and Wheelock. I'd really like to hear from anyone who is working with this area. Thank you. Welcome to the list! I'm working on the Cook family (Mariah Blanche Cook, b. Jan. 1877) in Harbor Creek. I know it isn't the two places you mentioned, but it is in the east of the county. The first wife of a direct line is buried in the Corry Cemetery: Hyacinth, or Heidi, Wethli. She md. Wilford Pomeroy in 1936, and died the following year in childbirth. If this helps, let me know.
