Hello I am searching for any of the TALLMAN any spelling in Erie Co PA.who may be children of JARED Here is some of what I have found but cannot seem to get any further; This JARED was well enough known the town rang bells 85 times for his death yet I cannot find a thing about who his family is; 1860 Census, Erie Co, Conneaut Twp Jared Tallman 64 m farmer born NH Sarah 60 f born NH And I also found this on Jared TALLMAN, Jared TALLMAN, At Platea, in Elk Creek Twp, Mar 20, 1881, Jared Tallman,ae 85 y26 d. One of oldest and best known residents of Erie County PA. Served in War of 1812. Lived here 23 years. Leaves a widow, 81 yrs of age and 7 children , all with families of their own.
