Hi Lister Friends, Still researching names of STEVENS & WASSEL Great-Grandparents came from Russia in the late 1800's, have made trips to the LDS Library to no avail. My Grandfather on mother's side was MICHAEL STEVENS, and I am sure he changed his surname, can not find GGrandfather in any census. But think his first name was FRED or FEDORA? MICHAEL STEVENS killed in 1908 Marianna Mine Blast, Grandmother's name was MARY WILLIAMS-STEVENS-WASSEL.. She married LEE (LAWRENCE) WASSEL and had 3 more sons, HARRY, WILLIAM & LAWRENCE & daughter ALEXANDRA (ALICE) DAVIS-JENNETTE who lived in Vestaburg (Vesta 5) and moved to Erie, Pa. in her later years, she lived in Palmbrook, Erie, Pa. Buried from the Russian Church, I think perhaps St. John's? Lived in Vestaburg, Marianna, Cokeburg & Vesta 5, Pennsylvania.
