Thank you for your help Andy. I have a hand typed "copy" of a death notice supposedly from a Conneaut, Ohio newspaper (no name given) but I have no idea if this is accurate information. I realize that some things in obituaries may have been exaggerated or even invented in those days. It says : a.. Francis Lorell Hoskins lived at 377 Main St. Conneaut, Ohio. Son of William Lorell Hoskins and Nancy Trimmer, members of the pioneer families in the Connecticut Western Reserve. b.. He was born 7/2/1852 and buried in Pierpont. He died circa 1932. c.. m. Louise Thompson d.. m Margaret B. Sherrod-1900- son-F. Lorell Hoskins of Sandusky,OH- granddaughter Charlotte Lorell Hoskins b. Feb. 16, circa 1932. e.. That he was a Pennsylvania legislator a trustee of Edinboro State College, builder and part owner of Northwestern Pennsylvania Railroad Co and a friend and associate of President McKinley. My ggrandmother-Hattie Victoria Sherrod Mooney's death notice (b 5/ 3/1871 d. 7/13/1929 -hand typed also) states that she is the ggg-granddaughter of General Joseph Warren. I cannot find any connection there.
