    3. Hi, I live out here, in the county. Cranesville and Albion are southeast of Ashtabula, and are at least 7-10 miles south of the lake. Here is a url http://www.rootsweb.com/~paerie/townships/ElkCreek.htm Wellsboro ( Lundy's Lane) is noted here. The Township was named for the many herds of elk that once roamed the small creeks in the area. Several small villages developed in this rural area and still exist today that include: Pageville, Pont, Ivarea, Wellsburg / Lundys Lane, Cranesville, and Lavery. Our Township has been in different stages of development for over 200 years. I live about six miles from this area, if there is anything that I can do to help let me know Rick ----- Original Message ----- From: "Genie" <genielists@yahoo.com> To: <> Sent: Friday, July 18, 2003 2:26 PM Subject: Re: [PAERIE] Lundys Lane > It still is - in the COUNTY of Erie <smile>. > It's a few miles NE of Ashtabula, OH, sort of > between Cranesville and Albion, near the lake. > I'm sure you can find it on Mapquest.com or other > online map services.
