Sharon has a good idea! I contacted this Commission through the internet about a year ago and received information on a relative that is buried in Hawaii. We never knew that he was mentioned on any monuments because he was lost at sea and never recovered. Not only did they send a large (maybe 18"x18") photo of the overall monument, but a close up snap inserted in the corner showing the soldiers name, etc. This service cost me nothing. For a small fee, they will place flowers on the grave and send a photo as well. Definitely worth the try! Barb original message: Bill and list, Before anyone invests in this CD, may I recommend that they take a look at the US American Battle Monuments commission's website where over 230,000 war dead are listed from both World wars and the Korean War. They also offer the free service of a picture of your soldier's overseas gravesite.
