I don't recall seeing the original post regarding BRINDLE but the reply caught my eye. I have done a lot of research on this family as my house I live in was built in 1835 by Malachia Brindle, son of Mathias Brindle. Mathias gave portions of the land he had settled to his sons as they came of age. My ancestors purchased it from Malachia's heirs in 1866. Pat
