Hello List, As I periodically do, I have a need for some transcribing volunteers. I do have a list of a number of you who have volunteered in the past, but that project never materialized and people's priorities change, so I will ask again. One of our site visitors and past contributor, Rick Landers, has provided quite a number of scanned images of text pages from a church history book (St Paul's Catholic Church). I have uploaded these images to an unlinked directory on our Erie Co (PA) Genealogy website. There are 40 images ranging from 251K to 1.3 meg in size, basically a picture of a page of text. I am in need of these pages being retyped into text documents, preferably Microsoft Word (.doc) or Web page (html) format, or even plain text in an email. Anyone wishing to help, please contact me privately at ErieCoGenie@att.net and I will provide the file names of one or more pages to transcribe.
