Joyce M. Wheeler Wolcott Lived in Corry area since early 1970s CORRY - Joyce M. Wolcott, 62, a resident of Corry Manor Nursing Home, died Friday, April 11, 2003. She was born July 18, 1940, in Emlenton, daughter of the late Clarence and Beatrice Fry Wheeler. She formerly lived in the Franklin area, West Hickory and Union City. She moved to the Corry area in the early 1970s. She was a homemaker. She attended school in Franklin. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, reading, word search puzzles, animals and her pets. She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Ernest and John Vanderwark; and a sister, Nancy Proctor. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy and Bobbi Jo Wolcott of Corry; a sister, Susie Rhoades of South Carolina; a brother, Charles Wheeler of Mercer; two granddaughters, Kendra and Zowie Wolcott; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society, 418 W. 38th St., Erie, PA 16508.
