    2. Cathedral Prep is an all-boy Catholic High School. Were they Catholic? Gridley is a public school but at least in the 1960's and 1970's was just a middle school, not high school. Strong Vincent was the high school for the area. But 9th and Poplar is more central. Perhaps Academy High School would be another possibility? Or something on the east side? And when did Erie Technical High School come into being? I knew a lot of kids from all over the city who went to Tech to get technical training in a trade. Okay more questions and no answers. Just food for thought. Is there a reference on the development (genealogy) of the Erie School District?
