Hello List, I am trying to locate the social security information on my Uncle Evan Davies who was killed in Normandy, France in 1944. I have searched the Social Security Index for his information but nothing comes up. Do any of you have any suggestions on how I can find out his Social Security information? Do you have a copy of his death certificate? Sometimes it is listed on there. The value of a SSN is that you can then obtain a copy of the original SSN application which lists their place of birth and the names of their parents. Jan
