Although the 1800 Erie County census reading, which is part of the USGenWeb Census project, is linked from the Erie County (PA) Genealogy web site, which is also part of the USGenWeb project, this reading can seldom be reached as apparently it is accessed through ftp on a server which is either very busy or has slow connections. In any case, as both the Census transcription project and the genealogy page are part of the same program, I would like to directly post the census reading in HTML (http://) so that researchers may have the benefit of this data all the time.
