Hi Are there any death records for Frances P. Turner the wife of James N.Turner? She died before 1948. They had one daughter, Martha. They lived in Springfield Twp., Erie Co., PA. She was born in 1884. She is 15 when she married James. They probably married in 1900--any marriage record that early? They are found on the 1900 census in Springfield Twp, Erie Co. Why are they not on later census as they continued to live in that area until they died? Any help would be greatly appreciated.--Betty

I've gotten some clarification on my earlier post and, hopefully, this will ring some bells with someone. Marie Sweigard married into the Feichtner family (Erie). She had a brother, Albert (lived in Erie), and sisters Ella of Chalfonte, PA and Sue of Warren, PA. Thanks again for your reading my post and checking your family files! Barb

Betty, There were 2 James Turner in Erie county in 1920. One was 26 and lived in Corry, while the one we found in 1910 was in Erie township. Lillian was 56, James was 57, and a daughter perhaps Regina was 22. Check ED 97, page 11A for the one in Erie, Erie. No children with them. There are too many Luther Greens, James Turners, etc. to track down by census alone.
