Born Aug. 4, 1942 the daughter of Andrew & Margaret SALAMON SANTANIELLO. Married Charles "Chuck" McClain on Oct. 25, 1958, he survives. Burial in St. Leo's Cem. in Ridgway. Two daughters and three sons. Florence M. PONTZER, 77 of Ridgway died Friday, Nov. 16 at her home. Born Sept. 24, 1924 in Dagus Mines, daughter of Stephen C. & Veronica MAGISTRELLI GORNATI. Married Norbert James Pontzer in 1951 in the St. Boniface Church in Kersey. Burial in St. Boniface Cem. in Kersey. Two daughters and two sons. Births: None Engaged: Amy FARABAUGH is engaged to Eric John MUELLER. Amy is daughter of Peg and the late John Farabaugh of St. Marys. Eric is son of George & Barb Mueller of Illinois. August 10, 2002 wedding is planned. Notes: The Johnsonburg Public Library will open it's Dollhouse this year at the start of the holiday season. Consisting of dozens of collectable dolls from all local collections, the Dollhouse is a must-see and a favorite holiday tradition for local residence. SM&BTHS newsletter: The St. Marys and Benzinger Township Historical Society is proud to present it's Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award to Arnold G. WOLFE. There is a one page history and picture of Arnold on the front of their newsletter. There was also a short page on the move to their new building and another in memory of Elizabeth "Sis" Simons. They are taking dinner reservations and the annual dues at this time as well. Dinner is $13 and the dues are determined by how you wish to contribute. Students are $1, single is $6, Family is $10.
