--- The Daily Press, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 --- Obits: Richard G. WERNER, 82 of St. Marys died Friday. Born Aug. 23, 1919 in St. Marys, son of Anthony & Josephine LECKER WERNER. Married Althea "Honey" SOBIERJSKI in the St. Marys Church. She survives. One daughter. Ethel H. MATHESON, 90 of Ridgway died Friday. Born Sept. 3, 1911 in Ridgway, daughter of Charles W. & Selma A. NELSON HOLM. Married Sherwood T. MATHESON in Morgantown, W. Virginia on June 3, 1932. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1969. One daughter and three sons. Anniv: Cliff & Catherine (SIMCHICK) SNYDER will celebrate their 40th anniversary. They were married on Sept. 30, 1961 in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg. They have five children.
