It's been awhile since I've posted on this, so I'll try again. I have an old tin type and CDV album which belonged to my 3rd great grandparents, Scott MACDONALD and Catherine BONNERT (BONERT/BONNART). This album contains mostly unidentified pictures which were mainly taken in western PA. Some were taken in St. Mary's. I believe my Catherine _might_ have been the daughter of Francis and Barbara BONNET (Bonnert) shown in the 1850 and 1860 census living in Jones Township, Elk County. Catherine was born in NY abt. 1844 d/o two German parents and was Roman Catholic. She spent some time in PA, parts unknown, where she had a daughter, Maud(e), somewhere in 1866. Scott MacDonald was b. abt. 1833 in New Brunswick, Canada but at the very least passed through Elk County in the 1860s when he had his picture taken. Scott and Catherine are shown together in the 1880 McKean County census with their daughter Maud(e), neices Enney and Fidelia HALCOMB (HOLCOMB) and 7 boarders. If you can help place a name which a face or have any information on the individuals mentioned above, I would love to hear from you! Who are these people?
