Elk County List, O-K, since I didn't get any hate mail or anyone requesting that I stick strictly to genealogy on the list I'm going to assume that it is all right. I did receive several encouraging messages to go ahead that it sounded like a good idea along with a few suggestions. Depending on how busy I am and the amount of "Notes of interest" in the paper I will try to send something a couple times a week just to give the out of towner's an idea of what is going on back here in the sticks. I'll refrain from using acronyms or things that only an Elk County kid would understand as suggested. Of course if I don't have a clue as to what they are referring to as in today's class reunion, I'll just leave it as it reads in the paper. Born December 31, 1927 in Ridgway, son of Lester & Anna Hadden DUSH. On June 21, 1947, he married Evelyn GARDNER, who survives. CHS (?) class of '60 will meet at 1pm Friday, Aug. 24, at the lower end of the municipal parking lot to car pool for lunch in Emporium. -------END-------- Dave B.
