    3. Obituaries: Alfred H. "Boo Boo' Stebick Jr., 66, of 1058 Windfall Road, St. Marys, died Friday morning, January 11, 2002 at Elk Regional Health Center. He was born August 2, 1935 in St. Marys, son of the late Alfred H. and Geraldine I. Kreckel Stebick. Mr. Stebick attended St. Marys Catholic schools. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of St. Marys Church and the American Legion. He retired in 1997 from Powder Metal Products in St. Marys, where he had worked for over 38 years. He is survived by four sisters, Kathleen Eckert, Nadine (Mrs. Leonard) Facchine, Joan (Mrs. Peter) Herzing and Christine "Teenie" Stebick and his niece, Missy, with whom he resided; three brothers, Leroy Stebick and his wife, Rose, Edward Stebick and his wife, Patty, Kenneth Stebick and his wife, Janet, all of St. Marys; 15 nieces and nephews; and 14 great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Lisa Herzing; and a nephew, Donald Stebick. A Mass of Christian Burial for Alfred H. "Boo Boo" Stebick will be celebrated at St. Marys Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Alfred Patterson, O.S.B., as celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Carmen J. DiNardo, 71, of Powers Avenue, Johnsonburg died suddenly Friday morning at home. He was born February 2, 19.30 in Johnsonburg, son of the late Dominic and Eva DeStefano DiNardo. He married Anna Eichmiller on June 22, 1957 in St. Marys Catholic Church. She survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Elizabeth DiNardo, Johnsonburg, Catherine DiNardo, Pittsburgh, Joanne Colesar, Clearfield, Margaret DiNardo, Lampeter, and Rose Grumbling, Lititz; three, grandchildren; and a sister, Consi Wheeler, Kersey. He was a lifelong resident of Johnsonburg and retired in 1988 from B&O Railroad maintenance following more than 40 years of service. He was a U.S Army veteran, earning the rank of Cpl. and serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War and the Piedmont Club. A Mass of Christian Burial for Carmen J. DiNardo will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Rosary Church with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Births: A son was born to Roger and Alice Umpleby of Kane on Friday, January 11, 2002.
