The Elk County Historical Society opened today, so I guess Spring is officially here no matter what it looks like outside. :-) We have changed our hours at the society to try to accomodate those that work during the day, and also summertime travelers. Our hours are Thursday 2-5 p.m; Friday 2-8 p.m; and Saturday 2-5 p.m. We are also open by appointment, and arrangements can be made by calling 814-776-1032. Please leave a message on the answering machine if there is no one available to take your call, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. If you plan on traveling to Elk County over the summer, please have a safe trip.
