    3. Dear Sherry, I cannot respond directly to you because Penn.com is blocking my server, and I can not write to anyone at penn.com, until the problem is fixed. Nor can any other Canadian researchers trying to get info for the NW PA area, for that matter, so I have to post this to the list. Thank you!!! Clearfield is what I was looking for! Now if you could only tell me what happend to my great-great grandmother's remains!!!!! She died in 1925, and I sent to PA State vital records, and there is no death certificate for her on file. She died in Kersey, and the funeral was at St. Boniface, but the church has no record of her interment there. I have her obit. What do you make of that? My concern is that she was buried (unmarked grave) in the Old Kersey Road cemetery, where Arthur McQuone is buried; and I believe you wrote something about developers trying to get the land there? Where else would a 1925 Kersey death have to be registered? Thanks for all your help these past 3 years! Sincerely, Sharon in Canada

    3. St. Boniface may not have a record of her burial, but I'd bet alot of money that she is buried in St. Boniface, unless for some reason they took her to St. Marys. There has to be a death certificate on file for her at New Castle-- but they won't work too hard to find it if the dates or the place of death aren't absolutely on the money. (I have lost quite a bit of $$ this way!) They do have ten year searches available for like $25.00. Also, did you check anywhere for an obituary? As far as I know, they weren't burying in the St. Michaels cemetery on Irishtown Road/Old Kersey Road in 1925. And the cemetery is safe from developers because the Historical Society owns it. :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: Sharon Dani and JP <amuckdjp@sympatico.ca> To: <PAELK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 17, 2001 11:36 PM Subject: [PAELK] Kersey Question > Dear Sherry, > I cannot respond directly to you because Penn.com is blocking my server, and I can not write to anyone at penn.com, until the problem is fixed.
