My wife is Verina Van Hoose,a direct descendant of Elisabeth Christina Laux,younger sister of Elisabeth Catharina Laux.Abraham was their older brother and on the trip over from England Valentine and his wife Anna Catharina Ruhl along with some of the siblings of Catharina and Christina perished. Out of 3000 Palatines that came on the Voyage to America to New York,470 died. My great grandfather of many "G's",Werner Dygert sailed with those 10 ships that brought the Palatines to America on that faithful Voyage in 1710.When Christina landed she was a 10 year old orphan along with the rest of her family. She was married 11 April 1720 to Johannes Van Hoesen at East Camp, Albany, New York.Johannes is my wife Verina's Greatgrandfather of many "G's".I have more if your interested.......Clint Dygert..
