In trying to use Richard W. Davis' unpublished manuscript of the SCHENK family of Switzerland and America, I have run into a stumbling block related to OTHER NAMES USED for the New Danville Mennonite Cemetery. I was able to find that that church had once been known as the Stone Church. I can't finda site I had bookmarked which had maps showing the location of ALL cemeteries in Lancastrer Co by name. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. The family line I am tracing is trying to sort out if they descend from Christian Schenk ( b. 1662 Eggiwil, Bern, SWZ. d. 1724 in Strasburg Twp., Lancaster PA) or his brother Michael b. 1670 in Eggiwil. This family was born and raised on the "family farms" on Conestoga Creek near Long Lane. Comprehensive as Davis' manuscript is, I can't find ANYONE buried in New Danville Mennonite Cemetery!
