Maria's father was Adam Brenneman (1700-1759) who was married to "Mary." Adam's father was Melchior Brenneman ("The Pioneer") (1655-1737), who married "Elizabeth." Melchior Brenneman's father was another Melchior Brenneman ("The Exile") (b. abt. 1631). There is a great "Breneman" website at http://gargantua.stanford.edu/~breneman/brenemans/history.html. The Brenneman "Genforum" (www.genforum.com) is pretty active and informative. I'm a descendant of Melchior "the Pioneer" through his son Melchior, Jr. (1718-1794) (Adam's Brother). I'd love to exchange information with any other Brenneman researchers out there. (I'm looking for STRICKLERS, and MUMMAS too.) Hope this helps.
