I read an article about the Battle of Gettysburg, and it said that Oyster Point was on the West Shore, across the river from Harrisburg. There is a historical marker in Camp Hill between Market Street and the former supermarket which reads "Farthest advance of a body of Confederate troops toward Harrisburg. Southern troops under General A.G. Jenkins of Ewell's Corps reached Oyster Point on June 28, 1863. It looks like Oyster Point is a part of Camp Hill.
