Liz J Greetings: The surname WEIDNER caught my eye. I have a "cousin" which is a descendant of that family. D. Ernest Weinhold (in some area,s: WINEHOLT) DEWeinhold@juno.com Penna. "Dutch"
Hello; Yes, thanks for the rsponse here. There has recently been a considerable amount of work done with regards to this large family, on the PA-Berks list. My ancestor is George Adam Weidner who married Dorothy Greiner. Their daughter Elizabeth married Johan DeHart. The sets of families related to these had lived near New Hanover/Faulkner Swamp, and then at Amity and in the Oley Valley area. My grandmother was from Reading. Almost every one of her ancestors had ben in Berks County before 1750 --or before Berks was Berks. You are very welcome to contact me off-list if there is something else I can do for you.
