Im trying to find the parents of Jacob J. Hill. he married abigail A. Stokes about, maybe 1820? His son was John B. Hill , born Feb. 1819. One other thing, were there not Dutch migrating to Pennsylvania,? or is the term Pennsylvanian Dutch just a common term for the German peoples migrating to P.A.? My great,great,great grandpa, Jacob J. Hill was a Pennsylvanian Dutch, now is that safe to say he is from the netherlands or is he German?
