Frederick Ehrhart came to the U.S. in 1827 or 1828 from Darmstadt, Germany. I have been told Ehrhart was spelled Ehrhardt in Germany, but am unable to confirm. I do not have a link to a Peter Ehrhart at this time. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
