I am looking for information on my PA Dutch family. My great grandfather's name is William David Wolfe born in Avis? PA. His parents were German born and may have came through NJ before settling in PA. I have no iformation at this time on parents names or siblings. the only information my father has is the above. His date of birth is 9-1-1857. He died in Wisconsin in 1950. I do have photos of what I believe (although unmarked) are Wolf/Wolfe family members taken in Bellefonte PA and one in NJ. The new Jersey photo is of an older gentleman with a long gray beard. My guess would be that the Wolfe's in this family were Lutheran or Reformed although I have no proof of this. Wm married Pluma Case about 1885 or so probably in the midwest. They had two children Josephine 12-1886 and Lloyd Ernst 9-23-1893. If anyone has any interest in the photos or any information that could possibly help me in my search please contact me. I can scan and send the photos if anyone is interested.
