The only information I have on Mathilde Oltmann was she was married in New York at the German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1844. She evidently was born in the United States, in New York, and family myth states she was Pennsylvania Dutch. With so little information how can I trace if there was an Oltmann family in Pennsylvania? There were Oltmanns, but they spread out to Ohio, and other states. I am having a hard time getting started on this Line. thank you in advance for any little bits and pieces given out. Daryl
