    3. >From where in Lanc county do your Sides hail? My grandmother was a Sides; there is a naming thing within the family where either a Samuel or a George is in each generation. For instance, the Geo has a son Sam, who has a son Geo, who has a son Sam..... Anyway, there are lots of Sides in the Falmouth/Bainbridge area. This is the northwestern part of the county. My grandmother was actually born/raised in Highspire, which is about 15 miles up the Susquehanna River from there (I have visited the family plot in Highspire Cemetary - LOTS of Sides there.) Her father, George Sides, m. a Blanche Edith Grimes - they owned the general store in Highspire for many years. George was actually from the York side of the river maybe there's a connection? Anyway, I'd be interested to see if we have a direct connection or if maybe there's a cousin thing going on. ----- Original Message ----- From: <OmahaMom@aol.com> To: <PADUTCHgenONLY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, March 02, 2000 8:29 AM Subject: [PaDgo] Lost in Lancaster county, PA > Lost, in Lancaster county: > > John Gish, married to Martha Magdalena Miller (b abt 1800) daughter of > Henry/Heinrich Miller & Mary/Polly Bartley.
