A word of caution about using ebay auctions from someone who learned the hard way. Don't bid on an item without adding the proxy option. If you simply bid 50 dollars and it's the high bid, five minutes before the auction closes some one will sneak in and get what you want for 51 dollars and you haven't time to rebid. So figure out the maximum you'll spend and put it as a proxy bid. Then automatically they'll boost your bid up to keep people from snatching what you want. So read about proxy bidding and act accordingly. There's lots of genealogical information going up for bid. To find it without getting tons of useless junk you have to use boolean logic.
