When people respond privately to message that seeks information about a family or individual, only the person asking the question benefits from the response. Others looking for the same information don't receive it. All responses to this list and others are stored in searchable archives. It is possible to go back through those archives and look for information that has been sent to the list that may help you. Your question is an interesting one.
