SHOUP, George Samuel; from Maryland 1806; to Greene County, Ohio; Samuel died in 1812; his children move to Montgomery County, Ohio. Oldest and youngest sons of Marti & Sophie (Bott) Shoup (Shaub) of Frederick County, Maryland; to to Ohio in 1806. George, married 1778, in Maryland, Charolette Loy; to Greene County, Ohio. Samuel, died in 1812, buried in Cost Cemetery, Greene County, Ohio. Married 1793; in Maryland, Dorothy Grove, a lineal descendant of Hans Graff, who came to Germantown, Pensylvania, in 1694, then a first settler of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Gaf, his title; always called "Der Graf", The Earl; Title, Baron Von Welden, of Switzerland; titled dropped on comming to America. SHOUP, John; 1806-1862; married in Pennsylvania, Mary Beuhler, born in Switzerland 1805-1848; move to Ohio 1838; issue: Martin, Henry, Elias, Fanny, Caroline, Mary and Elizabeth. Henry, born 11-31-1835, married Nettie M. Reel the daughter of William & Caroline (Curtis) Reel.
