    3. Anna, This is also my line! However in my research I usually saw Schneider in ( ). Schneider in German means tailor and I have been told therefore that this listing gives his occupation and isn't part of his name. Remember they were known then by their occupations in their villages and communities. Hope this helps. Have a Good Day.
