She gave birth to my mom in 1936 and then gave her up for adoption. I have found a Hattie Wilson in W.Va who married a Samuel Bertolet from Montgomery Co. PA. They had a daughter Violet Belle Bertolet in 1927 but can find not records for them after that. My Hattie Ruth Mae was hunchbacked and "not young" when she gave birth to my mom. Does any one know a male Bertolet who could have been the father? Or a Hattie Ruth Mae Bertolet who strayed.
