Grandfather was Clay Harlan Stehr b. 1 Sept 1902 d 4 May 1929 in Gown City, Penna. married Hilda Weikel b 17 Sept, 1902 d 28 Sept 1989 in Gown City Penna. Great-grandfather Herbert Stehr 1879-1937 who married CarrieMae (Hepler) Stehr 1880-1945 Any info would help I show in my records a Harlan Clayton Stehr born 9-3-1902 killed 5-4-1929 the son of Herbert and Carrie hepler Stehr. Worked at a colliery in Mowry and was killed in the mines when his children were small. He married Hilda Weikel. She was born Gown City the dau of Oliver Weikel.A child Harlan Stehr son of Clayton and Hilda Stehr, killed in a shooting accident while playing with a gun with his cousin when he was 5 yrs. old O.k. I also show a Herbert Stephen Stehr born 4-16-1879 died 6-7-1937 married Carrie Mae Hepler born 7-3-1880 died 1-1-1945 Herbert was the son of Lewis and Amelia Kehler Stehr. Herbert was a miner and died of Miners asthma.Carrie was the dau of James and Jane Engel H! epler. Their children were as follows:Harry, Clayton, Alma,Hilda, Mildred,Herbert,Warren ,Grace, Opal,Roma, and Betty. No dates for them. Amelia Kehler born 5-4-1860 died 1-17-1914.Married Lewis Stehr.
