Yes you are a part of my family!!!! My father was Orville Nathaniel the baby of Henerietta (Retta) & Perrian Spiller Cox. I have been searching for years to find relatives of the Gentzler side, but was hitting brick walls everywhere, then suddenly I am getting in touch with some of the cousins. Grandma was the oldest of her father's children, then Nathan. Their mother was Lyda (varied spelling:Lida/ Lydia/Lidia) don't know for sure which spelling is correct. She passed away at age 23, then he married Emma Werner & had 11 more children. They are buried in the old City Cemetery in Liberal, Ks. On their headstone is this inscription: Gentzler (in the center), on the left side is : Jacob 1844-1932 Right side: Emma 1862-1933 Between the dates are the square & compasses on Gr.Grndpa's & on Gr.Grandma's there is an Order of the Eastern Star emblem. I had never known she belonged to that order, but knew he had been a member of the Forgo Masonic Lodge for many years. I was born in St. Louis, Mo. married a young man who went into the Air Force & we landed here in Schertz, Tx. I will send you an E-mail with my linage. My Grandmother was b. Sept. 27,1875; d.Oct. 18, 1965 @ 6:20A.M. in St. Louis, Mo. She had these childre: Winnie Viola-Sept. 14, 1899 in Metz, Mo., d.Nov.16, 1991; Andrew Jackson- Dec.19, 1901, d. Nov.11, 1990 (actually it was the 6th, but wasn't found until the 11th); Wesley Herbert -b. July27, 1903; d. Aug. ? , 1989, in Arkansas. Daddy was b. Mar. 3, 1910- d. Mar. 8, 1999. Aunt Winnie was in Pacific Grove, Ca.; Uncle Andrew was in E. ST. Louis, Ill; Daddy lived in St. Louis, Mo. They were born in: Metz, Mo.(2) & Kingman, Ks. (2). Retta is buried in Leadington, Mo. beside her husband. The cemetry is located across the road from a white Baptist church in which my grandpa hed ministered in several times. He was a Free-Will Baptist ordained minister. Will continue on E-mail.
