One of the ancestors of mine, farthest back, would be Alexander Negley, who, although born in Prussia in 1734, came to PA, eventually moving to and dying in Pittsburgh (now known by Negleys as the Home Farm, Negley Circle, of Highland Park) around November 1803. One of his many (at least 10 that I have found) offspring is Casper, born 3/17/1784, in East Liberty (Alleghany County), PA. One of HIS many offspring (at least 6 that I found), includes a Felix H. (altho there are several Felix H's in several other places) born 5/24/1833, in East Liberty PA. As I kept going thru, I found more descendants, but then things got murky. All I know is that we have a family Bible that has the birth parents of my father's father Charles Negley Geisler Sr., as being Henry Geisler and Clara Negley. But in between it is spotty. CNG, Sr. and CNG, JR. (my father) were both born in Pittsburgh, according to the family records. Do you have any information that may shed light on this?
