I know that my g-g grandfather was Hiram Stauffer son of Reuben Stauffer and Catherine Mussleman or Musselman. I know that Reuben was born in 1817 and died in 1870. They lived in Colebrookdale, Berks CO PA. I need to know who Reuben's parents are and is there a connection to Hans Stauffer whose sons settled in that area. My theory is that Hans is Reuben's g grandfather. I have more info from census but can not find info prior to about 1850 on Reuben. Any help is appreciated. No one in my immediate family has any ninfo at all.
