Can ANYONE help me, please? I have been researching for over 16 ½ years. Looking for a Family that was located in Somers Lane, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, about 1876. My great-grandmother was born on the “Fallows Farm”. I cannot find her birth? Her parents were of German origin. Looking for any information or help....or anything. These are my Great-Grandparents and everyone is died to ask! Ella b. 8/3/1876 d.4/28/1949 Spoke German fluently Raised by an Irish family McCue/McCune She married John Hopkins, b. 10/08/1866; Allegany County, New York. Also lived in Cattaraugus County, NY Died: 08/22/1943; Degolia Pennsylvania It states b. in Tioga, Pa., but everyone knows how that goes, mistakes ect ect Both lived in McKean County, Pennsylvania after the birth of their children 1897. Various conflicting documentation and unreliable for her surname. Parentage is in question: various surnames have been documented through out the grandchildren’s baby books; death certificate and marriage applications.
