    3. I think from what I have so far learned that my HEnry and JOhannes Wagner, b respectively maybe around 1740, and exactly in 1751, were probably sons, possibly nephews, of Elias Wagner who lived in Exeter, and died there in 1755, with a widow named Margaret. He died intestate and she was appointed administrator. I also think they were probably related to Adam Wagner of Roscrumbmanor, died there 1773, who had a son named Elias. NONE of the Wagner's of Berks County used Biblical or any other names but common German ones, except this particular family. I also suspect they had relatives of same names living in Heidelberg Township. This was all in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Can anyone tell me anything about this family? The only family they are at all likely to have been related to were in Bern, as that family had links to Roscrombmanor, but they did not use Biblical names, except for Jacob, which was a common German and Dutch name. The name Elias ran in the Exeter WAgner family for over a century, to judge from teh probate records, and also the property maps, and so did the name Isaac. Can anyone also tell me why the prediliction for Biblical names in this family? I've seen it before only in Quaker ancestors; surely it has significance. Yours, Dora Smith __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo! Mail Free email you can access from anywhere! http://mail.yahoo.com/
